Ida Maria

Yesterday my friend Tyler Romes tweeted about the song Oh My God by Ida Maria. I gave the song a listen and instantly had to get her recently released (in the U.S.) album Fortress ‘Round My Heart. It’s all I listened to yesterday so I thought I’d go ahead and pass it along to all of you.

Ghostland Observatory

Another band that’s been taking up most of my listening time is Ghostland Observatory. They basically kept me sane during my 5 hour flight to and from Baltimore last week. Honestly, there are quite a few song of theirs that just don’t do it for me. But there are also many, many that really do. Hailing out of Austin, TX, the duo has had some great hits off of each of their three releases.

  1. No mate, I could have but wasn’t in the mood for it that night and hearing the stories from my friends who did go… well, if I wasn’t going to be a 130% on top of my game I would not have survived. So in hindsight good thing I didn’t go but still would have liked to.
